There are some companies that have their beginnings in the back yard or the home garage, but not many of these can claim to have started out almost by accident - but this is true of Moonraker Australia.

The first Moonraker antenna system was designed in 1971 at home in the garage because its designer could not find a suitable HF marine antenna for his boat. Being the man who made live recordings possible from the battle fields of New Guinea in World War II, by inventing the first portable radio recording equipment, naturally he made it himself. It was not long before others in the marine fraternity envied its excellent performance and wanted one for themselves - and a new business was born. more
